Investing in Our Future
At Elkli & Hart, we recognise that the future we strive for — one marked by artistic appreciation, social equality, and environmental sustainability — requires an active investment. As part of our commitment to that future, we allocate 10% of our profits to a range of charities dedicated to making this vision a reality.
These charities have been chosen for their relentless work across diverse but interrelated sectors. Our support helps advance education in the arts in schools, enabling young minds to engage with creativity, critical thinking, and the joy of artistic expression. It bolsters efforts to make arts accessible to disadvantaged communities, tearing down socio-economic barriers to cultural participation and promoting inclusivity.
Through our partnerships, we also contribute to combating climate change and reducing plastic pollution, addressing two of the most pressing environmental issues of our time. Additionally, our contributions aid in the protection of wildlife and natural ecosystems, preserving the rich biodiversity that makes our planet so unique.
Before you continue, we recommend watching this thought-provoking TED talk by activist and fundraiser Dan Pallotta. In his talk, Pallotta challenges the pervasive mindset that negatively links charities with significant operating expenses. He argues that many nonprofits are, counterproductively, lauded for minimal spending rather than their actual achievements. Pallotta urges us to shift our perspective, to applaud charities for their ambitious goals and notable accomplishments, even if these come with substantial costs. It's a vital conversation about the ethics of frugality versus the impact of effective philanthropy.
We allocate our profits to the following impactful charities
- Artis Foundation
Their mission is to transform lives through the arts by creating magical, high quality learning opportunities to help children flourish. - Campaign for the Arts
Works to champion, defend and expand access to the arts and culture, for and with the public. - Create Arts
Empowering lives, reducing isolation and enhancing wellbeing through the creative arts. - Cool Earth
An international NGO that protects endangered rainforest in order to combat global warming, protect ecosystems and to provide employment for local people. - Surfers Against Sewage
Marine conservation charity working with communities to protect oceans, waves, beaches and marine life. - World Wildlife Fund for Nature
The world’s leading independent conservation organisation, whose mission is to create a world where people and wildlife can thrive together.
By supporting these organisations, we aim to make a tangible impact, not just through financial contributions, but by raising awareness, fostering partnerships, and catalysing change. Together with these charities, we're investing in a future that we're proud to be a part of, and we invite our customers to join us in this journey.

Why Profits for Good?
Our decision to adopt the 'Profits for Good' model is grounded in our conviction that businesses can, and should, be a powerful force for positive change. We believe that the pursuit of profits and social good are not mutually exclusive, but can indeed harmoniously coexist. This ethos is underpinned by experiences that have touched us deeply, and by the inspiring people we have encountered along our journey.
Our founder's time volunteering in Africa, for example, was a profoundly transformative experience. Witnessing firsthand the life-altering power of education, particularly in underprivileged communities, instilled in us a deep sense of responsibility. We realised that the privilege of being able to bring beautiful art into people’s homes came with an obligation to give back to our global community.
In addition, we are deeply moved by the philosophy of the late Sir Ken Robinson, who passionately advocated for a holistic approach to education that recognises and nurtures individual talents and creativity. We align with Robinson’s belief in the value of personal intelligence, understanding that conventional measures of intelligence are too narrow to capture the breadth and diversity of human potential.
Through our 'Profits for Good' initiative, we aim to embody these principles in a very real and tangible way. Our contributions seek to extend beyond mere financial support, driving progress in key areas that align with our core values: artistic expression, education, sustainability, and innovation. We hope to inspire others with our model, demonstrating that business success can both benefit from, and contribute to, the betterment of our world.

Your Role in Our Shared Mission
At Elkli & Hart, our mission goes beyond producing beautiful, sustainable artwork. We see ourselves as part of a broader global narrative — one where businesses step up to meet the social and environmental challenges of our time. We're excited about the journey we've embarked on, and we invite you, our cherished customers and supporters, to join us.
When you choose Elkli & Hart, you're choosing more than a high-quality, sustainable piece of art. You're becoming part of a forward-thinking community that believes in the power of businesses to make a tangible, positive difference in the world. You're supporting education in the arts, environmental sustainability, and social equity.
In addition to purchasing our art, there are several ways you can participate in our 'Profits for Good' initiative. Stay tuned for the upcoming launch of our competition for young people, encouraging creativity and talent in photography and mixed-media art. We're also excited about our plans for a magazine that combines art, environment, education, and technology into a compelling narrative.
Most importantly, remember that every decision you make, no matter how small, can have a profound impact. By choosing businesses that align with your values and contribute to the causes you care about, you're playing an active role in shaping our world's future.
We're so grateful to have you with us on this journey. Together, we can inspire change and pave the way towards a more sustainable, equitable, and beautiful world.
Our Message
Elkli & Hart was founded on the belief that businesses should be a force for good — a belief that drives every decision we make. From our commitment to sustainable production and zero-carbon delivery to our support of various charities, we aim to embody this principle in all we do.
We know that our Profits for Good model is just one small piece of a larger global puzzle. But we also know that every piece matters. Every action taken towards building a more sustainable, equitable, and compassionate world brings us one step closer to solving that puzzle.
The reality is that the challenges our world faces today — climate change, education inequities, environmental degradation — are too large for any one entity to solve. But if every business can commit to doing its part, together, we can make a significant impact.
That's why, beyond our own commitments, we aim to inspire others. We want our model to show that business success doesn't have to come at the expense of our planet or its people. It's entirely possible, and indeed critical, for businesses to thrive while also contributing positively to society.
In the end, our message is one of hope, of shared responsibility, and of the transformative power of collective action. By choosing Elkli & Hart, you're not just choosing sustainable art pieces. You're choosing to be part of a movement that values social responsibility and strives for a better world.
